Our Vision

A prosperous and sustainable future in African countries, driven by local insights and organizations, with the capacity to design, implement and steward transformative solutions which leverage global best practices
and innovations in collaboration with indigenous knowledge and culture

Our Story

In our collective experience, we have witnessed the limitations of development approaches dominated by external perspectives and top-down strategies. Often driven by the priorities of funding partners and international NGOs, these approaches overlook the voices, needs, and capacities of local communities and constituents.

We, as African development professionals, bring major program management expertise from the private sector, and deep content expertise from the continent and international organizations. We champion a definitive approach that values global expertise while ensuring that programs begin with the vision, aspirations, and expertise of local stakeholders.

Our story is centered on empowering local partners across the private, public, and civil society, supporting and enabling them to drive their own country's development for sustainable impact at every level. Our distinctiveness is underscored by our track record, notably the tenure of many of our staff at the Ethiopian Agriculture Transformation Agency (ATA) which leveraged an initial $140 million investment into a $1.7 billion return to the national economy.
